You keep going back to GGGs resume and ducking Ward (supposedly) but we`re talking about Sanchez running his mouth. So which is it? Are we talking GGGs resume or Sanchez running his mouth? I say let the old man talk because thats all it is is talk. YOu obviously have some emotions about it because here you are posting about it and throwing a fit with anyone who disagrees or doesnt seem to think its a big deal. Not sure why you would think I want to defend Golovkin? Or where you think I have? Please state where.
I would be interested to read the link as a fan and why if what you say is correct, as to why it was shut down. Maybe a weight division couldnt be agreed?
Ward had the Kovalev fight made as Kovalev was a champ who seemed to pursue the fight by being ringside in Oakland and entering the ring. I havent seen someone do that with Kovalev and it has taken Ward a while to get a big fight.
As said, Im not defending and dont rate Ward or Golovkin above the other and am a neutral asking questions, but once again you seem to have got nervous and defensive, which shows an agenda. Why do you get so nervous and scared?

 

Well Abel has a lot of confidence in his fighter. He already believes he's the best P4P fighter in the world so him making this statement about the LHW's doesn't surprise me.

Golovkin has the look of a great fighter, it's just unfortunate he turned pro at a late age and he's been campaigning his entire pro career at a division that's devoid of any elite talent. He had his chance 2 years ago to move up and face Ward at SMW. I've always felt that him beating Ward would be exponentially greater than anything he could do at 160 lbs, and that includes unifying the division.

You can't really knock a guy who wants to unify his division and has been working tirelessly at it. It's also unfortunate that for the last few years, he's been avoided pretty openly by the other fighters in his weight class. If the other champs would've fought him already, he'd have unified a while ago.

Anyway at his age it's a BAD idea to move up in weight and take on the best competition. He carries terrific power at MW, but the chance of him carrying it up to 175 lbs against the elite fighters in that division is wishful thinking. No one knows what his power looks like at just one weight class above, let alone 2. Those LHW's hydrate to 190+ pounds on fight night and I'm pretty sure the top guys can take his best shots.

You seem confused because I am not really a Ward or Golovkin fan but am not a hater of either and think they are both solid fighters but also think they are fighters who have just missed from fighting in a tougher era at MW and SMW respectively.
I would have like to have seen the links you mentioned but if you dont have them, nevermind.
How could Ward have been putting serious offers to Golovkin when he wasnt fighting and going up in weight?
