Saddler, considered the towering giant and unstoppable force of the featherweights back in his heyday, is now victim of what then seemed to be literally impossible Saddler is now dwarfed, both in height, reach and if you really believe it, power, against the 6'1 reigning, undefeated, 28-0 24 Kos WBO Featherweight Champion Can Saddler, the more experienced and skilled veteran, with his accuracy and various antics, triumph over the massive challenge Leo imposes into him, or would El Divino quite simply be too much?
As a big Espinoza fan, I don't like his chances against Saddler. He willingly gives up his height and reach to trade on the inside and work his massive combos, which I don't think will work against someone as capable as Saddler in close. Robeisy Ramirez rocked Espinoza badly and arguably should've gotten the nod in their first fight. Espinoza does well early with his physicality and power early, but Saddler slowly whittles him down and closes the gap the further the fight goes.
I think it's a cool fight, just because you'd see Saddler have to try fight as a smaller pressure fighter instead of having 3+ inches of height and reach on his opponents like usual.
