Agreed totally, hes getting outworked here and depending on his conditioning will struggle late imo..Pov prime leaves him horizontal in 10
Povetkin had two shoulder surgeries and took his last fight on short notice ( its again why the opportunist Furys took the fight for Hughie with Povetkin coming of a big K.O loss hoping that would be enough . lol ), IF and we HAVE to assume he has a solid camp again he would perform far better and if he can bring his level to where he was giving AJ a run ,Hunter wont win bc that's not AJ and they are basing the odds on Povetkins last fight added Hunter defeated a guy not remotely as good so . . ..not saying Hunter cant win but its really based on what Povetkin shows up and you don't assume any top fighter comes anything less but ready. Hughie Fury is also perfect to have prior to a guy like hunter bc both frustrate you and just wont go away in the ring , that is a huge advantage still going into this one. Kuzmin beyond power has nothing in common with Povetkin who will bring boxing and punching with a faster pace to this fight.
Pov is 40, I know guys like Canelo and Wilder will tell you beating up old men is ATG level stuff but it really isnt. The odds are correct.
Hunter looked absolutely TERRIBLE against Bakole. He ate Bakole's power shots hungrily, the dude has PATHETIC defence. One of the worst I have ever seen. If it was not Bakole, but a heavy hitter like Povetkin, he would KTFO Hunter in round 8. I pity those who underestimate Povetkin, he is a former world champion, olympic gold medalist, has excellent resume and lost only to the best (Klitschko and AJ). On the other hand Hunter fought nobodies and lost to Usyk naturally. He is a bum. Povetkin will KTFO Hunter in 8 and may even retire him.
We all know a decent version of Povetkin mops him up. But Sasha has a lot of miles on him and Hunter is a pretty good fighter, if not top tier. Sometimes a pretty good fighter is all that's needed to expose an older fighter's age.
I don't think Hunter would of been a walk in the park for him at any point. I mean, Marco Huck gave him problems and I never really rated Captain Huck a great deal at CW let alone HW.
A prime Povetkin might have lost to Hunter, Hunter is the real deal bro, and I am not saying this just because Usyk beat him and it makes the cossack look good, Hunter is legit a good fighter and future ATG.
I am not arguing about who will win the fight. I am saying it makes sense that the bookies have Hunter as the favourite. Some inactivity, shoulder issues, old age and less than stellar performances have made Hunter the obvious favourite. And again, bookie odds are bookie odds. They have more to do with how people are betting than the actual outcome of a fight.
If that were the case then bookies would lose money more then it makes ...if FANS were the final say and a gage bc they are USUALLY wrong in masses and boxing is just an EASIER one to do odds bc its usually a wide gap of who should win or lose then team sports there would be no bookies following wrong people ! I just lost a game today by ONE Basket on the spread this wasn't bc the fans were with the other team bc they weren't even supposed to come close, this isn't magic this is real configuration by guys who have to study the teams not take fans perception. Boxing is no different they look at everything they don't let it ride on your opinion or mine…...lmao Povetkin should be the favorite if everyone going with him right ? Like I said the bookies are looking at both current wins and performances they aren't looking enough and are gambling away potentially a lot of money if Povetkin wins the more proven fighter and they also look at AJ loss which may effect Povetkins own standing but they are wrong , a sole Povetkin loss will be washed away when AJ defeats Ruiz ,,,BOTH guys SHOULD come out victorious that night . Bookies MAY change or alter the odds based on the already SET betting odds they configure but in no way does public dictate how they come to make a favorite usually . There would be no system to make money IF the bookie went with the public bc theres actually thinking and number crunching behind closed doors involved and they would be bankrupt bc theres a system in place where the bettors lose money globally more then they make. Povetkin will win at least in a legit judging ( I know they are pushing Hunter ) ,and if he doesn't its the end of the line ,it wont get easier in harder match ups with bigger punchers over 6'2..
Yea O.K. way to show me that one ..lol. You haven't a clue knowing what your talking about and sound like a kid who stared watching a few years ago where I grew up ina boxing family through third generation since the 50's....Bad Bot once again you malfunctioned and had not much intelligence here.
