Of course if the damage they did was about the same I look for work rate, then who pressed the action,

He knew he officially lost, because of WBC open scoring.

Plus the knockdown must have rattled his confidence a bit.

It was a close bout, could have gone either way. Alvarez did nice work getting in range to land power, but Trout's jab was a major factor.

    No.

    And Yes.

Trout got paid very well, so he probably doesn't want to rock the boat. Think about the rematch!

fight wasn't a robbery I had it 7-5 Trout, but what pisses me off if No matter
what Trout did, he had no chance going in on the scorecards. And Trout
isn't admitting defeat, he's at peace with the outcome of the fight. He leaves
it in the ring. That is class like a motherfu**er!!!

Scoring rounds is based on 4 criteria: Clean punching, effective aggression, defense, and ring generalship. For most rounds in this fight Trout filled in the checkboxes more than Saul did. Saul had some nice rounds and the rounds he won he did so clearly, but he didn't do it for enough rounds.

Negative. Workrate means **** of all you doing is hitting air. You go with EFFECTIVE PUNCHING. WHO'S DOING MORE DAMAGE? BOXING 101
