Saul Canelo Alvarez vs Jermall Charlo

Not only GGG I like Derevyanchenko's fighting style just hope he gets a fair crack of the whip tonight
Korobov already beat Jermall & Lara really beat both Charlo's in my book

 

Just how good arethe Charlo's & Canelo ?? We've yet to see either in a fair straight down the middle fight

 

Jermall is good enough to have beaten SD in more brutal and clearer fashion than Golovkin and Jacobs.

Canelo is the beat P4P fighter, so there's that.

Triangles theories don’t work in boxing and all, but Jermall proved last night that he belonged in there with the best at MW. He’s a big guy, and while Canelo is clearly the better boxer and hasn’t stopped improving in the last 10 years, one thing he’s always struggled with is a stiff jab. While Charlo’s jab isn’t as consistent or as fundamentally sound as GGG’s, It’s longer and in all likelyhood faster than 36 year old G’s.

Think this would be another one of those fights where Canelo winning a close and justified decision in a very good and competitive fight, leaving his fans and haters bickering about the outcome as always. (Though most Canelo haters seem to also hate Charlo, so the outrage wouldn’t be the same)

 

Charlo scored his best win last night, Sergey falls just short again, tough luck.
Canelo can take this one over Charlo in a decent tussle, likely UD.

 

I'd take Canelo over either Charlo too.

 

Why do people in this forum hate Jermall Charlo so much? He is clearly the best middleweight after GGG. Charlo would definitely defeat Canelo by UD.

 

Jermall Charlo beats Canelo on points. People will be surprised, but I won't.

I disagree. GGG would take Charlo's hits without getting hurt and dismantle him. Charlo is very susceptible to get hit in the face and GGG has a heavy hand.

 

I wouldn’t favor any fighter at MW or SMW over Canelo.
