Canelo has only ever managed to KO Glass Jawed opponents such as Kirkland and Khan. He wasn't a puncher at 154 and will be even less so at 160.

Not everyone accepts mainstream corruption and institutionalized bigotry with the same zeal as yourself.

If the GGG/Cucknelo fight is anything but a fair shoot I am done with this filthy sport. In the meantime I will continue telling everyone how boxing is just a shell game to keep N. American fighters at the top.

You have to be twice the fighter to compete with the A side advantages awarded these Western children of privilege.

Canelo and Oscar have only themselves to blame for the "Pollo"
ridiculing. They talked big after the Khan fight then cap in hand cowardly handed over the WBC belt. The Hispanic fighters & fans around here are loath to forgive them they believe they disrespected the great Mexican fighting tradition

America is where all the best come to fight..

Canelo is Mexican and fights exclusively in the U.S., as does Golovkin. They know whats up.

I hope they both get knocked down but not KO'd... that would be a fight of the century...

America being where the best have to come is an antiquated notion that is simply not the case anymore. Anthony Joshua is just one examp0le that debunks this xenophobic mantra that has been wrecklessly bellowed with ignorance, zeal and bombast forever.

This is being reflected economically as well with promoters such as Hearn and Ryabinski's W.O.B giving big payouts to fighters on their cards.

I've heard enough boxing prefight smack talk to just roll my eyes at this. Maybe it will maybe it won't, but that Canelo's now saying he'll get a ko doesn't make it a bit more likely he will, or change how he'll box. I definitely still think if Canelo wins it's most likely by decision.

I don't think Canelo means he's going for the KO, I think he understands that Golovkin's style is tailored made for his style. Against good boxers like Lara, Trout, and Cotto who can box off the back foot, scoring a KO was more unlikely since Canelo prefers and excels when his opponents are coming forward offensively the way Golovkin will. I think he understands how his style matches up with different type of styles since he's had the fortune of fighting multiple styles at the world level.

If Canelo doesn't manage to KO GGG, I think he will put the biggest beating Golovkin has ever endured.

Canelo is just a diva, he is the puppet of Golden Boy, he is the typical teenager fan star, the Justin Bieber of boxing, you just have to look at his instagram, watch his insta stories, he has teenager mentality. Golovkin is a respectful man, a mature dude, who knows that fame and money are not the most important things in life, he is a focused man, competitive, boxing is his passion, I cant say the same about Canelo, he is only a product for the big Mexican Market. A lot of Mexicans supports GGG because they recognise the hard work, the talent, the way he is a humble boy, Canelo is from his country, but thats all, they share the values Golovkin carries. GGG by humillation

Where is this whole "diva" thing coming from? Has Canelo really done anything that most of us in his position would not have done?

Camelot is going to feed GGG some beautifully placed uppercuts but I think the KD, if not KO ,is most likely going to come from GGG and Big Red will be the one getting a LONG count.
