Golovkin doesnt have the popularity to fight in a single place.

Dont take me wrong, hes a popular dude amongst boxing fans, but people arent paying top dollar to watch him fight.

Unlike Canelo, from a "sales" perspective Ggg needs to cater to his opponents fan base and or fight where he has a concentration of fans such as NY and Monte carlo.

For some of his black opponents he fights in Inglewood, for East Coast fighters he fights in NY, for Brook he fought in England, for his Euro opponents he fights in Monte Carlo.

Canelo on the other hand can fight exclusively in the new Mecca of Boxing and he will sell big everytime.

Its a luxury Canelo enjoys do to his immense popularity.

 

The HW division sucks balls compared to the many other divisions. Europe can keep that slow lazy division.

CW also sucks big balls compared to JrMW, WW, LW, SFW, FW, BW etc...

Here is sad thing about it, he is saying the things he is because Oscar and Hopkins is hyping him up to the max and Mayweather is chiming in. Oscar is gambling and if Canelo can somehow knock GGG out, the returns will be immense. However, if he loses and manages to get himself knocked out the effect on his mental state could be dangerous. Oscar don't care because his only drive to do better than Mayweather, even if it takes living through Canelo.

 

Doubt this does end in a KO - IMO this has 12 rounds written all over it.

Canelo isn't knocking out triple G. If Canelo wins this fight it will be by boxing to a favorable decision. If anyone is getting knocked out, I doubt it will be triple G.

 

Proven once again what an ignorant fanboy who DKSAB you are. The only one of those divisions who have a better talent pool than CW is WW. And to name BW, LW, FW among those, I mean, get a clue kid. The talent pool, the quality of match ups, the depth @ CW takes a huge dump on any of those 3.
