Canelo crispy counters will be the difference. Possibly a questionable stoppage

He needs to get kronk like fury lol, but he won’t be able to as Canelo has a solid jaw, I just don’t see Saunders engaging enough with meaningful power enough to stop Canelo coming forward, I see him trying to box at range and picking the odd shot but Canelo can walk through Saunders shots all day long imo and Canelo will be busy enough to get a decision even if he’s finding it hard to pin him down, a few years ago and at middle weight I would have edged towards Saunders now I just can’t see him hurting Canelo and that’s exactly what he has to do. Iam not actually that exited about it anymore.

Canelo stopped both Kova and Fielding and yet you thought he won those fights? Keen observation skills Sherlock.

If Billy Joe comes in top shape, he could win it. Canelo has a chin, so I doubt Billy can win by KO. Definitely has the skill set to give Canelo problems.

I agree with this, He hasn't done anything really since the Lemieux fight to make one think he'd beat Canelo. Canelo thinks that too, otherwise they wouldn't fight.

Can you imagine the fear in the judges if they were to award a legitimate decision victory in favour of Saul Alvarez' opponent?

That's like signing a death warrant. There would be no trace of that person ever again, as soon as they leave the arena.

    Money, unfortunately, rules above all.

I definitely agree that Billy Joe Saunders can outbox Saul Alvarez, but he may end up going into the fight with a defeatist attitude regarding the likely judging and he may not train properly.

I'm thinking a Saunders upset is on the cards too. While Canelo is the more accomplished fighter and even the better fighter, I don't think this is a good style match up for him. He's always done better when guys come to him, him having to chase could lead to a close affair and BJS is the best back foot fighter Canelo will have fought except for Mayweather.

Canelo likes to press and slip then counter. But BJS might get off first and be gone before he can counter. I have to give Canelo kudos for taking this fight, I don't think this will be easy at all.

People say stupid things here all the time and mean it, I judged him based on his previous comment. You gave him the benefit of a doubt, good for you.:applaudit:

Problem I see with Saunders is he looks slow at 168 so I don't think will be that elusive.

You guys are all ready to cry foul on anything close that doesn't go your boys way. Any little mess up by the ref, any little call or foul that doesn't get called, will be the undeniable proof that the fix was in. LOL Canelo got y'all shook!
