If BJS wanted the ring to be a certain size he should have mentioned it and MTK being his management should have made sure it was in the contract. Either BJS didn't mention it or MTK have messed up.The funny thing is, If BJS were to pull out he could be open to being sued by Canelo. I believe this is all mind games and I expect more over the next few days.

 

Well that’s the point I was making. Clearly every party has made an omission by not specifying the dimensions in the contract so Saunders has every right to try and power play Canelo in fight week for a bigger ring. It’s nothing new in boxing, we hear these stories all the time about gloves, rehydration rules, ring walks etc.

If Saunders wants it and Canelo doesn’t then the fight doesn’t happen. If Saunders is content with that so be it.

It is BJS trying to be unfair and gain an advantage here, let's be quite clear about that, so the fact he's wanting an above average sized ring and also trying to say its canelo trying to gain an advantage by using a normal ring is comical

Big heavyweights use a 20 foot ring all the time, wasn't a problem for Fury Vs Wilder, wasn't a problem for Ali against one of the biggest hitters of all time in Foreman, I could list most fights ever tbh but super middleweight Saunders needs more room?

It's clear he simply wants to run away all night and collect his paycheck.

Just look at their opponents, the gulf is immense, then compare their performances, BJS struggles with bang average fighters while Canelo butchers world class elites.

BJS is well aware he is in way over his head. Hence all these tactics, trying to claim he's being hard done by when infact nothing abnormal is happening. Wouldn't surprise me if he uses this as an excuse to actually pull out and avoid being sparked

If he does go ahead with the fight, he will run away all night and do his best to avoid any real fight
