ofcourse he can take the fat off because he's done it before. but the affect it has on the body and mind is immense. If hatton lived like a true professional boxer, then he would be a much better boxer than he is today. He may look great come fight night, but what he puts his body through affects his performance. If you want to be a world class boxer, you have to make sacrifices i.e. not living a normal life, which hatton doesn't seems to do and thats a disgrace to boxing. He should just quit boxing and continue eating his bacon and sausages.
Yeah, but IMO his yo-yo weight has taken its toll on his body, and that's why his punch resistance is gone. Had he stayed in shape and lived a proffesional lifestyle inbetween fights he might have had a bit more longevity.
it's common sense that the continuous gain and loss of weight will take a toll on his body. If he had lived like a professional boxer, he definitely would be a better fighter. Not saying he would have beat Floyd and Pacman but a BETTER boxer nevertheless.
