Canelo-He shouldn't have fought Floyd.

Ward-He should have beaten Kovalev more cleanly.

Crawford-His resume is weak. He should fight better opponents and especially Spence.

 

Evander Holyfield should have taken better care with his finances, and he should not be fighting anybody on Saturday, 09/11/21.

 

Crawford willingly re-signed with Top Rank because it’s easier to face bums in Omaha and he values money over legacy.

 

Wlad Klit was waaay too passive in a lot of his later fights. He should have taken a page out of his brother's handbook on punchoutput.

 

I think it’s tough to blame the individuals. It’s a dangerous sport and a short career so I’m sure a lot of people would take the option of less dangerous fights for more money if it was on the table. The blame has to lie squarely with the sanctioning bodies for allowing it to happen. With a unified and impartial ranking system and one champ per division it just couldn’t happen.
