Floyd told Margarito to his face while stuttering, when he meets him down the line it would be a big money fight. Then retired after Ricky Hatton.
Was that right before Margarito immediately lost to Paul Williams? Cool... Which great fights did Margarito have that showcased him as a great opponent who beating would be a great achievement? Cotto in '08... When/what else? Cintron fights? Cool...
Margarito did more than Maidana, Guerrero, Ortiz, Marquez (at WW), Khan, Hatton............ But forget about that, Mayweather says he will fight Khan. Mayweather also says Pacquaio "youre next", and Mayweather says to Margarito to his face he will get a shot. (While stuttering) 1:16 of the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_BWElcszSY Floyd can't be trusted. Still, if Khan can beat Porter, or any other decent Welterweight, that should be easy money for Floyd.
Khan gonna sit back and watch Mayweather v Maidana and then hope for the Money fight not fighting anyone else in the meantime because he will lose and the Floyd fight will disappear
Funny...I seem to recall Williams getting outboxed thouroughly by Carlos Quintana right after that fight. Guess it was Mayweather schooling him instead...:think
Yeah, because Mayweather was on hiatus and Williams didn't do nearly enough to establish himself as someone that FMJ had to fight upon making his return to the ring.
Khan needs to earn it by winning a meaningful fight in the ring. Tune-ups against unknown undersized fighters with no power and destroying fighters on twitter isn't going to get him this fight.
