This one has a chance to end inside of 3 rounds. I'd favor Thurman because of his footwork and overall boxing ability.

But Lucas has bricks in both hands and he doesn't have to hit someone cleanly to put them down on the canvas. What an incredible fight this would be.

 

I'd rather see Lucas stay at 140 and rematch Garcia or take on the Porter-Paulie winner at 147.

 

Would favour Thurman because he's naturally bigger as well as being quick and a decent boxer. He's not very proven though so I would't be surprised if Matthysse knocked him out.

They will probably fight seperate people on a triple header then fight later in the year, Thurman is a beast and would beat most at 147 but against Matthysse his chin wont hold up

Two of my favorite fighters to watch around the weight class. It'd be a great fight, a FOTY candidate, but I almost wish I could see them each take out another contender or two before they square off.

 

If Soto Karass can almost drop Thurman I'm pretty sure Lucas can do it for sure.

I read that Matthysse and Thurman will be fighting on the same card, but not each other.
