I like Johnny Nelson but he was a very boring fighter.Talented with good skills and a good punch but he quite often stank the place out,even when he won.

Johnny found that being ultra negative and awkward made him successful and he did his job well but tbh he was awful to watch. I enjoyed the Sellers fight because he was made to engage.
My issue with him i the fact he's an awful, awful pundit. The most he ever offers are things like "Whoever wants it more wins!" and "He's got to dictate the fight!"
In the CW division I always preferred Carl Thompson but I don't think I'm alone in that! I think when Nelson won the WBU HW title it was because the opponent for his WBO defence failed a medical so a 'world' HW title fight was conjured up at the last minute... He vacated instantly.
His career highlights were a bogus stoppage win against Carl Thompson and a very awkward interview alongside Terry Dunstan.
To be fair that is his mantra, it is as insightful as saying 'he is very good'. Nelson is a total bullshitter as a pundit, truly awful.
