Again a very fun fight to watch throughout. Quite similar to the 1st fight they had with kameda starting strongly and McDonnell doing much better down the stretch. But it seemed like kameda had prepared himself better in terms of conditioning as he was able to still work a decent pace in the latter rounds whereas in the first one he got outworked later on. Again McDonnell was utilising his reach advantage to keep landing that jab and keeping kameda out of range. McDonnell also displayed nice footwork to keep his range and move himself into position to land his punches and make kameda follow him but kameda also used his footwork well to slip in and out of McDonnell’s range to landing his nice short punches and flurries. Both showed great defense to slip and block a lot of the other persons offenses. Kameda showed some great hand speed throughout again favouring speed over power and this helped him negate the reach advantage to get inside and land his shots. Both again landed some nice body shots to try mixing it up but favouring the head punches. Overall similar to the first as McDonnell displayed a nice jab, good footwork, great ring iq, high workrate , nice defense, managing of range and punch accuracy whereas kameda showed blistering handspeed, nice combos, great footwork, good defense and a better gas tank than his previous fight. But I felt that McDonnell won a close but competitive fight. What scores did everyone else have and what other fights should I watch?

Nice fight to watch it was. Felt like in this one DeGale started off well and scored the kd and jack came back in the middle rounds and DeGale had a resurgence in the latter stages of the fight and jack ended the fight with a big kid. DeGale and jack showed some big heart to not get dropped by the others major punches and combinations besides the 1kd for each. DeGale seemed to want to brawl rather than fight which played into jacks hands as utmost allowed jack to rip DeGale some bodya with hooks and uppercuts throughout. But DeGale also seemed to be able to land some nice flurry of combinations also which helped win him his rounds. DeGale was the more accurate fighter and landed the flashier punches especially to the head but jack was the more workmanlike fighter and did the much better body work and Also landed some nice right crosses and uppercuts which hurt DeGale a couple times. Felt like Both showed some decent defense when in range. Overall I felt that DeGale was the more accurate puncher, threw the better combinations, showed greater handspeed, big heart, nice punch selection, decent stamina but prefered flurries rather than fighting entire rounds and decent footwork whereas jack was the stronger fighter, did the better bodywork throughout, landed some great single shots such as the right cross and right uppercut along with getting in some nice combos, nice relentless pressuring throughout and good footwork to get himself into better positions to throw His punches. Overall felt like DeGale a flashier work and cleaner head work won him more rounds than jacks bodywork and decent head work, have no problem with a close jack win. What scores did Everyone else have?

I scored it identically. I also felt the cleaner work came from Degale. The way Jack fights, will only get you wins up to a certain level and after that I think he will always find it hard to dominate over 12 rounds.

Would be interested to hear how you score Barker vs Geale?

Two high volume punchers going at it. Good fight and extremely evenly matched 12 rounder. No one took over. One of the closest fights I have ever seen. It was very difficult to separate these guys.

It's been while since i watched the fight but I scored fight for Geale. I didn't feel like he deserved to lose his title but like I said: It was ridiculously even fight and hey, there was real drama also!

    I scored DeGale-Jack 113-113.

Rounds 5 (Jack) and 7+11 (DeGale) were really close and could have swung the fight either way on my card.

Great fight to watch it was, really enjoyed this one. Both worked at a very high pace throughout. Felt like every close round Barker was just able to slightly outwork geale and be that little more accurate in some of the closer rounds. Both displayed good heart and chins as some big shots were landed throughout. Felt like Barker was that little bit more active in more of the rounds and seemed more accurate with his punches, especially the left hook and right cross whereas geale seemed to have more of his shots land on the gloves or miss. Geale did land the hardest shots of the fight to hurt Barker a couple of times tho. Barker seemed to make geale reach in quite a lot with his punches when he was on the outside which meant Barker could come in with the counter hook which was effective. Overall Barker was slightly more active throughout, showed better punch accuracy, some great bodywork. Nice left hook, good ring iq and nice inside game whereas geale wasn’t quite as active at times and didn’t seem as accurate but did some nice bodywork, landed some flashy shots up top, did some good work on the inside, nice footwork and decent handspeed and power, Barker just seem to do what geale did but that little better to win this fight in a close but competitive fight. Have no problem with giving a couple of extra rounds to geale as they were very close rounds some of them. What scores did everyone else have? @CST80 curious to know how you scored this one personally

Nice fight to watch it was. Both had some good moments throughout the fight. Palicte was the more active fighter throughout the majority of the fight whereas nietes threw the flashier punches but lacked the work rate to dominate rounds. Palicte started the fight off well working at a high workrate and pressuring nietes. Palicte doing well with the 1-2 to the head and body was well as using his height and range to make it hard for nietes tiger into the range to throw His punches and combos. It also meant that nietes was having to take punches in order to land his own and this worked for palicte. Nietes had a nice 5th and 6th round seemingly working palicte out as he seemed to use his footwork and defense to get inside of palicte and land that jab, straight right and left hooks. But then from the 7th to 10th rounds palicte seemed to adjust to nietes and manage the range better as well as nietes starting to slow down and let his workrate go down even more which allowed palicte to control the rounds as well as continuously landing the 1-2 and using the different punches in his arsenal. By then ens of the fight nietes had his second wind and palcitie seemed to switch off and let nietes take 2 of the last 3 rounds and outwork him and start landing his punches, combos and using his skill to take palicte apart. Overall palictehad the higher workrate, nice 1-2 to head and body, constant pressure, nice jab, decent combos and speed, used his range and height well, good defense and decent ring iq whereas nietes was the flashier fighter, fast hands, good footwork, decent defense, great jab and good ring iq. Overall palicte won a Close and competitive fight. Could see a draw but nietes workrate let him down and palicte was better than expected. Need some new fight suggestions as well. What scores did everyone else have

Forgot my actual score, but I do know hat I had Barker winning it by a comfortable margin. Probably in the ballpark of 116-111.

Good score, I had it 115-113 Palicte.

Cant make much of a case for Nietes honestly due to his workrate imo.

Exactly, I'm all for scoring fights for the more accurate fighter, as long as they're not fighting another accurate fighter that lands twice as many punches.
