I think he is very good as well.. Just a shame he's fighting these type of guys.. He needs to be in competitive fights IMO.. I think Frampton is a little special and looks very very good. Saying that both have no chance with Rigo I'm afraid

Cermeno was Quigg's originally scheduled opponent and is no mug, he's fought at world level for years and competed always.

As for Munyai, not sure if he's on the same level, but as far as late replacements go he's not bad.

Also, I don't think you're giving enough credit to Quigg for the draw with Salinas and the stoppage of Munroe. Salinas is a very solid stylist, and for me Quigg won (though I won't complain about the judges scoring it a draw - it was close). Munroe may have been just past his best, but still a quality win.

IMO when fighting for a World strap/belt always should be fighting top ten ranked opponents.. Neither is top ten. No where near. Galahad would be a better fight than either of these lads.. Quigg has yet to fight a top ten fighter.. Quigg also struggled a little with Munroe. If you look how easily Selby dealt with him it kind of puts the victory in perspective.. Like I said I think Quigg is good but he needs to be fighting world class opponents

If he fights world class opponents he might lose and then him and hearns will miss out on the frampton payday

He's looking sharp mate..hands are fine. Hopefully see the best of Ronnie this year. 2 decent fights Mooney will be a handful then Troy James should be a *******. Hope TV pick it up has fight of the year written all over it. Seems Troy is a bit of a favourite sure that will spur Ronnie on

I dont think you can compare selbys victory and quiggs victory against monroe. Selby looked about 3 weights above monroe and I think it was sheer size and strength that made it so easy for him

What you need to remember is on fight night lee will be the biggest FW in the world he'd have been huge compared to Monroe

What you also have to remember is the selby stoppage and the quigg stoppages were totally different. When quigg stopped him he loomed to his corner and shook his head. He didn't want to continue. No one else has done that to him thus far

Munyai is a very decent fighter with a style that could cause Scott a few problems - particularly if he gets forced backwards.

He can take a shot and is heavy handed - ask Lee Haskins!

Here he is against Esquivel - denied a clear stoppage in the last round.
