    This.

Not too many people understand how drastically different sparring is than than when fighting on the big stage.

I know quite a few guys, that give people hell in the gym (especially mma guys) but have less the enviable pro records.

Some people can leave more in the gym than they can in the ring on fight night.

Sparring is about getting good work in. When Roger said Flyod was killing people I paid it no mind. I will do the same with this. Floyd is sparring with some big guys though. He also has a few young guys there I wonder who they are hopefully some speed guys.

Isnt Mayweather sparring Kassim Ouma too?

I wonder what Powell and Ouma are weighing I doubt very much they are in the 150ies. Its more likely about 160lb.

In that interview Powell also said "I cant see Ortiz winning the fight a fight is a fight. If I had to go with somebody I'm going with Floyd. I think he's in great shape, has too much hand speed, and just overall too much for a younger fighter."

Think about it.. it's not like he's gonna say, "Well, Floyd ****ed me up in there hard.... guess I'm not cut out for this."

Powell couldn't beat Bundrage and stands no chance against Mayweather, Pacman.. and little chance against Ortiz.... it's jsut sparring... Pac should/ and likely will look at the Ortiz fight to judge Mayweather's current condition as a fighter.. which is the smart thing to do
