    idiotic.

Paul Williams has fought most of his career at around 147. Martinez at around 154! When will people realise its not about height its about WEIGHT!

If Martinez gets out of shape and as a result is drained come fight night thats his own fault.
Hes had TWO fights above 157 pounds in his career! Stop all the xcuses

In their first fight PW weighed in at 157 lbs, so for the most feared ****er the weight won't be a difference.

The only reason people make demands is because they want to have an advantage or take away an advantage from the other guy, otherwise IT MAKES NO SENSE the most feared ****ed making requests!!

If there is no reason to make the smaller man come down, why bother requesting catch weights??

IT is a ***** move. PW is worried about this fight thats why he is trying to get advantages.

**** catchweights. Why did Martinez offer it to Williams? Martinez is the champ!

The catchweight is actually 158lbs. No excuses if Martinez comes in drained and fights lethargic, don't put on muscles and you won't lose speed.

and this was the same man saying he would fight anyone from welterweight all the way to super middleweight but yet he wants a catchweight

he knows martinez won the first fight and now he wants every advantage possible

Is this the first time where the taller fighter requests the catch-weight?

But I agree that the catch-weight is a ***** move cause the 160 pound weight that they fought at the last time didn't give either of them a advantage or disadvantage.

He didn't offer it to Williams. Goossen said catchweight or rematch on Fight Night R4.

Not for the Undisputed MW title. It was for his 154 pound title.

That makes it much much different.

I didn't realize that this fight was at a catchweight. It doesn't make much sense to me. Both men agreed to it so I'm not going to berate one man over the other. It's unnecessary, though, and poor gamesmanship. Represent your division and stop ****ing around.
