But he was dropped by the likes of Cooper, a guy, with all due respect, who would get blasted out by both Bruno and Tubbs.

The point im making is Tysons opposition wasn't as bad as people make it out to be, especially if the other greats of his era were having trouble with these same guys.

I mean Bowe is a h2h monster, despite the fact that he prtty much struggled with just about every guy he fought.

I can give him a pass for the Holyfield fights as Holyfield is no walk in the park.

But what other ATG would struggle with Thomas, Tubbs, Biggs, Golota and Hide?

At the risk of mission creep, Foreman was tailor made for Louis.

Everyone has a plan until they get hit, out of the two of them i think Louis is in for a world of pain.

Especially the Foreman of the Frazier-Norton fights.

The one who walked through clean Frazier left hooks without even flinching

I don't care about Cooper v Tubbs. Talk about a sh!t fight, heavyweight boredom.

It's funny, over the next 14 years Ali fought the likes of Liston, Chuvalo, Cooper again, Bonavena, Frazier, Foreman, Lyle, Norton, Shavers ... and only Frazier managed to drop him of all of them (at the very end of gruelling 15 rounds) and people still saying "but Cooper dropped him" back when he was a 21-year-old.
    That fact didn't help them.

I guess Sonny Banks had him down, so even Mike Weaver would be likely to KO him.

    Muhammad Ali was good, bro.

This sounded witty at first, but Bowe has pugilistic dementia and took several horrific beatings.

Bowe was also dropped and/or rocked by the only decent punchers he fought.

    Holyfield, Golota, Hide and Cooper.

Hed end up getting stopped himself.

Frazier looked good going to war with Ali, but that style didnt work too well against a puncher like Foreman

The best Louis knocks out the best Foreman. Those that believe differently are vastly understating the skills of Joe Louis. No hwt fighter had the overall ability of Louis.

Ali is rated the greatest of all hwt champions for a reason. Not only a great boxer but a great boxer as tough as they come. A very hard to match combination of attributes. Absolutely take your money to the bank that the best Ali knocks out the best Tyson within ten rounds. After 2-3 rounds it's a completely one sided fight.
