:hey As we all know, their mandibles aren't exactly made up of the sturdiest of material. Broner has been dropped TWICE by Maidana (First time in his career) -Matthysse has been dropped once by DSG (First time in his career) -Matthysse has also been dropped TWICE by limited plodder 135 lb John Molina, a guy who has never fought at 140 before. This is how I envision the fight (As someone who is right most of the times) The earlier rounds Adrien will be boxing Matthysse from the outside, trying to see what Matthysse will bring to the table. Shoulder rolling here and there and catching Matthysse with short crisp uppercuts on the inside whenever they tangle up. Matthysse will try to rabbit punch and get that left hook/right hand combo working. But Broner will be far too elusive and change angles as soon as Matthysse anything of the sort. Broner, in a defensive shoulder roll stance, starts to walk Matthysse down with a flurry of 1-2's and Matthysse is starting to feel the weight of those punches. Matthysse is cut badly!!! For the first time in his career!!!! He goes to his corner, panting for breath but he realizes that his corner is unable to stop the cut. Matthysse, shining with warrior spirit goes out to try and knock Broner out. But Broner constantly aims for the cut with crisp right hands. The blood is gushing madly, no one can stop it! Lucas knows that the # of rounds he has left is limited, so he goes and tries to knock Broner out. But Broner gets him with the straight RIGHT HAND. Lucas is down! He gets up but his legs are jelly. Lucas is all over the place. Oh my god! It's going to have to get stopped shortly! Lucas gets up but he's very unsteady. Jack Reiss lets the fight go on but Broner catches him with another right hand and Lucas is down again. Reiss stops the fight with Lucas down on the canvas, bloodied and tired. It was a valiant effort by Matthysse but Broner was simply too good this night. Broner wins!
Don't know if that card is complete but Bika vs Dirrell II would be a nice add, also Berto vs Thurman. Or how about Omar Figueroa vs Hank Lundy.
Molina cut Matthyysse so you already have one thing wrong. Molina also has fought above 135 many times including his most recent fight before Matthysse.
When the hell did JohN Molina fight above 135? :rofl That was such a small cut, wouldn't really count it.
Damn Matthysse would pressure broner and get him on the back foot where he struggles. Broner has no foot work and would be demolished by Matthysse. If broner was to win this fight it would have to be a broner we have never seen before one who actually moves his feet and throws a lot or punches.
He beat Quintero/PDL you biased nitwit. Fact is Matthysse was beaten by Zab/Alexander/Garcia!!!!! He has 1 knockout over B+ competition, nothing else! He was never a world champion in his life Broner has been a 3 weight world champ!! :hi:
I'm think Lucas power and boxing skills will be too much down the line for AB. Hope i'm wrong though, as irritating Adrien is, he brings the spotlight to boxing.
