I'm quite interested to see if Jennings has improved at all.

    - but I HAVE to see Ward, of course, so it's an easy choice. Possibly Jennings-Koval will be on before Ward, but then I'm not going to pay to see it, so it's an even easier choice.

The last time Merchant was off his scone, he used this exact sentence. I'm almost certain of that.

The most important fight for me is Vitali fight.

Every time Vitali fights, my heart pumps twice as fast as normal.

I wish Charr beats Vitali via KO, then Charr fights David Haye.

The Vitali fight has nothing to do with the rest. :readthre:

It is in the afternoon, in Russia, so it won't conflict with any of the three nighttime (in the US) cards.

It's possible to watch Klitschko vs. Charr, then the Showtime Extreme undercard with Ishe Smith and Kid Chocolate in the early evening, and then choose which of the three competing cards to watch.

All laid out in the OP.

I'd still go with HBO though. I think Matthysee is gonna whoop Olusegun's overrated excretory opening. DeMarco vs Molina could go either way in my opinion.

    :think

See, I think it boils down to a mere difference of me rating Olusegun a bit higher and Molina maybe a bit lower than you do.

I see DeMarco as being likelier to enjoy a severe mismatch than Matthysse. (even though Matthysse is the better p4p fighter - that's offset by the fact that I consider Olusegun a much better p4p fighter and more able to impose his desired type of contest - in this case a pure boxing match - than Molina, who's basically Rios Lite ...of course, DeMarco falls just short of elite IMO especially where composure is concerned and can easily be dragged into a brawl and made to fight down to the level of his opposition, so you never know...it could be a back-and-forth war which could benefit John John...)

    ...

Again, the Klitschko-Charr bout will have already happened several hours earlier by the time HBO shows it on delay.

Really you should be judging the cards on the merits of the live bouts being shown, which means a doubleheader of Ward vs. Dawson & DeMarco vs. Molina against the doubleheader of Matthysse vs. Olusegun & Alexander vs. Bailey against the HW tripleheader on Wealth TV.

By the time HBO shows the replay, most of us will have either already seen Klitschko vs. Charr or had the result spoiled assuming we didn't stay off the internet.

5/6 of the board going for HBO.

That's a mouthful considering Showtime is putting out a pretty respectable doubleheader.

Whoever is in charge of this boxing programming experiment at Wealth TV needs a slap upside the head if they're expecting to do well against two solid cards on the major networks that are the chief boxing outlets. They probably aren't even aware of the conflict or what else is going on in the sport beyond what they're booking. :-( Or if they are aware, the logic is "Well, we've got a bunch of heavies. Everybody loves heavyweights.. :nut"

I would watch Dawson/Ward over the Showtime card....also interested to see heavyweights Jennings and Scott.....when will HBO start showcasing the young up and coming heavyweights? i feel like the only reason Mitchel is being toted is because he played football and that may have some drawing power......
