    Kovalev is skewering Pascal into the ropes with jabs and crosses, throwing hard, getting leverage on everything. Pascal raises his guard and languishes by a corner as Kovalev rips in hard left hooks up top. Body shots by Kovalev sprinkled in. Pascal backs up and lines up a perfect counter right hand on the button. Kovalev just keeps walking forward, scoring jabs and stunning Pascal with them. Long lunging 1-2 by Kovalev and Pascal buckles. Kovalev is stalking and finds Pascal crouching in center ring, playing a little possum, uncorking with a big left hook straightening his legs, backing Kovalev off. Kovalev recovers and resumes coming forward, jabbing the body as Pascal skips away. Long outfield-to-shortstop right hand by Pascal, harmlessly falling away in front of Kovalev. Big exchange at the bell, neither landing.

    Pascal has a tremendous chin. He should've been knocked out 3-4 times by now.

    Pascal is still very dangerous with his explosiveness. Kovalev trying to not punch himself out and going back to boxing.
