If he could manage to get by this which is 50/50 he might be looking for a cash out fight. If he tangles with any live body at 185 or better he could get seriously hurt.

Kova is pretty much finished at this point probably a 50/50 on this fight. Although I wouldn't be suprised if he gets KO'd before the 6th.

He got jumped for PED use in his comeback last and was banned for it.

Kovalev will be 39 in april. I think he's finishing off his contract to just get some money. I don't know how well he'll do. But he looked like not the same fighter ever since the two ward fights.

I dont know how good Meng is, if he's a legit B+ level then he might beat Kovalev. If he's below B+ level Kovalev probably knocked him out in 4

I actually think that is a good match up. We will see what Kovalev has left and if he still has something a fight with Zurdo would be good.

Kov is well past his for sale date. He gave it up against Canelo in a pathetic effort. I suppose he still has a punchers chance but he can't go past 6 rds. Meng just has to survive past the 6th and he'll get the stoppage.

"What the **** happened to you, man? Your ass used to be beautiful."

Kovalev's is one of the most alarmingly steep slides of any top-tier fighter in my lifetime so far. He was awesome. Can't say I ever saw such a hard fall from grace coming when he was in his pomp. Losing a fight or two is one thing, but all this ignominy outside the ring, becoming a cherry-pick for a 160–168 guy, it's been hard to watch.

Can't be blamed on Ward, either. A decision not going your way doesn't account for the unravelling Sergey went through. And what happened to him in the rematch was a symptom, if anything, certainly not the cause.

Yet and still, I'll be pulling for him in this closing phase of his career.

I thought I saw a photo of Krusher in a Russian Tank on the Ukrainian border.
Might be going on a small incursion.
