    Barrera is at a noticeable speed disadvantage. Vera should be sticking and moving more, using his speed advantage.

    Barrera is walking Valera down, wary of his power but able to land without putting himself in danger of taking much in return. Valera is hunkering down, hoping to lead Barrera into a trap but unable to get his timing down acutely enough to outfox the smart Cuban. Barrera is landing body shots and scraping a piece of the eye socket or side of the neck where he can, not getting too greedy, content to just score a tiny bit, ugly, then move or tie up.
