Thanks, Serge I could see Shabranskyy was wide open for a big right counter over the top

Shabransky is a damn big light heavyweight. Very similar outside boxing style, but you see right away Kov is the much better offensive fighter, in addition to being of course the harder puncher. He's mixing up his attack, setting up for power. Oooh! Kov stunned with a right! Kov didn't like it and knocked him down with a return right! The power is real! Kov is mad and wants blood! 10-8 Kovalev. This will more than likely be over in the 2nd!

Kovalev is a real man, and not American. Kovalev doesn't have the hipster peach fuzz on his upper lip or the design like something from an eight year old girl's school project made in glitter shaved into the back of the head.

I hadn't noticed that honestly. But I love the way Shabransky is just marching forward against Kovalev!

    Round 2

Kovalev is uppercutting Shabranskyy in the chest and following with stiff left jabs on the mouth. Shabranskyy is caught with short 1-2s every time he leads with a jab or hook at mid-range. BIG right hand drilled from above into the side of Shabranskyy's head, dropping him. Kovalev works the body, clipping Shabranskyy in half and then mangling his face with short powerful blows, never taking a break in between them, everything carefully and surgically placed. The ref steps in as Shabranskyy's eyes start to roll back.

    KO2!!
