I think Sergio would gain more respect in facing Golovkin & losing to him, than by not fighting him.

Note, I didn't say "duck" or "avoid" him, because Maravilla has earned the right to bow out gracefully. - But if he chooses to do so, it should be soon.

Also, I think Sergio would actually have a good chance against Golovkin. Heck, I might even put money on him. OK, maybe not, but it would be a fascinating fight, for sure.

You just need to get off of Quillin's ballsack, MW.

He was offered a shot at Golovkin and didn't take it. There's no way around that; it's a fact.

Would his career be in a better or worse place right now had he taken that fight and won a belt on an HBO main event? Yes or no?

Obviously, he'd be much better off and might have a Martinez fight now had he taken it. But he/GBP knew better. He'd have lost. And that would hurt his career.

And he was also offered a chance at Martinez and didn't take it. You can ignore whatever you want, doesn't undo it.

I'm not making **** up. You're the one who's hype training the hell out of the guy and ignoring facts you can't get around.

And your logic again sucks. It's never stopped GBP from trying to sell garbage fights and mismatches like Floyd/Guerrero and Floyd/Ortiz. GBP takes heat all the time for stuff like that, but they still do it anyway. If Floyd pushed for a Canelo fight or a Sergio fight or something like that, he'd get it.

Your last post basically confirmed my point: they would have avoided Trout-Alvarez if Alvarez himself didn't push for it. If Alvarez didn't speak up, the Trout fight doesn't happen, and you're on here shitting on him for that. Alvarez was someone GBP had every incentive to protect. Quillin isn't. You have more influence over who your next fight is if the promotion doesn't have big long term plans for you/or in the opposite direction, you're a Floyd/Manny level superstar. You're only really screwed and unable to influence your next opponent choice at all if you're someone like Matthysse who could scramble your plans. To act like the fighters don't have some control over who they fight next is idiotic. If Quillin wanted GGG back in August, he could have had him.

You can accept that point and not be a troll, or troll on. Keep hyping Quillin though, it'll make it all the sweeter when he gets upended by a soft touch on a Showtime undercard and loses his paper belt while GGG is headlining HBO cards as the real middleweight champion.

Golovkin would be a good pick.

  4. You people are so lost all the time, ggg can fight wherever he wants, like his last fight, hbo just gives him an open door, so yeah it can happen if Gbp and quillin were not such *****'s

  5. Well said, I hope all of you Gbp lovers get 5 more awful Mosley fights shoved down your throat

  6. No ****** who posts dumb **** on post without knowing anything, GGG had been asking for the fight on a weekly basis, begging for it, you sound ******ed

You need to stop lying about a boxer who gives fans exciting fights and came from the bottom. Dont know why you want to war against Quillin. Soft target maybe?

Show me the offer made to GBP that Quillin personally turned down

His career is fine right now. Champion with another excitig fight on deck this month. Whereas Golovkin is 30 years old and still fighting overmath ed junior middlweights

Quillin has been calling out Martinez for years, and yes GPB probably hasnt made the fight because they feel he would lose

Please show where Quillin personally turned down a fight with Martinez

You claimed Quillin is ducking fighters with no evidence. You claim Guerrero is a blown up junior middleweight yet hasnt fought there in 4 years. That is what we call a "lie" son

Despite your historical misinformation given that Ortiz vs Mayweayher was not considered a mismatch at the time, GBP backed themselves into a corner by having cotto and trout fight as a build up for the fight between Cotto and Alvarez. Had Alvarez not fought trout the fall out wouldve been immense

Alvarez has more pull with GBP. We've been over this son. Quillin has no oull and like most fighters of his caliber fights who his company mathes him with. Youre really naive to believe that outside a few high profile fighters any fighter decides who they fight. Mayweather, Marquez, Pac, Martinez, Canelo are pretty much the only fighters who decide whothey fight. Ala Ward being matched with Pavlik and then Chavez. Ward has been fighting top fighters for 3 years yet downgrades as soon as he moves to hbo?

    Come on dont be foolish

But by all means explain to me why Quillin and Roach wanted to fight Martinez 2 years ago yet the fight didnt get made. I can provide articles if you like

Not hyping Quillin at all. Ive stated his limitations plenty of times. Unlike you golotards i can see his flaws. However im extremely proud of his accomplishments and you denigrating and lying about a fighter who came from the bottom with no am experience and gives great fights and knockouts is pretty petty i must say.

Lol you think GGG will become the middleweight champion? Youre delusional boy. That aint happenin unless Martinez retires and HBO doesn feed him to the Ward monster. Pizza faced by a junior middeweight and struggling with ouma. High hopes son.

I would enjoy Geale first and then Golovkin for his final fight.

GGG has been avoiding all the top MW. That's why he payed Pirog to step aside so he can fight Kerry Hope's leftovers

Martinez vs GGG is a better fight than Geale, in terms of money and props for winning. The sooner Sergio fights GGG the better because he's only going to become more of a beast.

Let Chavez Jr. fight Geale and the winners fight.

Come on you know that isn't correct and we've been over this before. Pirog pulled out because of his back injury and looks like he won't be back till June which means he would have been a full year out of the game. Sadly Pirog is a good fighter but he'll be irrelevant by then which sucks. I would of thought a good poster like yourself would be above making posts like this.
