If Sergio has any balls he will fight a genuine 160 pounder! As for him being a PPV draw, unless he tussles with the likes of Pac, Cotto, Marg or Money it will be the lowest selling HBO PPV in history. The guy cannot sell out a casino ballroom!

Cotto will be KO'd if he meets Martinez. Mark my words on it.

Martinez knocked Williams out in the second round, with Williams' venue, judges, referee, etc., but Martinez did it. Martinez is fantastic. Haye/Solis fans hate Martinez.

But he said 154 is his absolute limit and very difficult for him to get to.

Not to mention he drag Dzin to 160 - Dzin has not fought over 154 in more than a decade. Dzin reputation was at 154 not 160.

I give full credit to Martinez over his win Dzin but to those saying he is a small 154 or can get lower, you should inform Martinez and Dzin about this fact since they might not know it.

Pacquiao fought at 126 for a long time!!

JML fought at 122 for a long time!!

Adamek fought at 175 for a long time!!

I mean, what the hell is your point, dude? Come on. You're the same mofo's who say Mayweather should be crucified for fighting the former lineal welter champ one fight removed at welter.

Maravilla would kill cotto, but Sergio deserves a money fight more then anybody in boxing right now. Dude probably hasn't even made a million dollars in a fight yet.

Doubt is, Dzinziruk has a phenomenal jab and it gave Martinez no problems.

These guys really question Cotto's balls? Team Martinez are acting like a bunch of douche bags. Talk about desperate.

Anyway, Cotto has said would have the balls to take it, he said if it has to be at 160 he'd do it too. Problem is Margarito is probably going to beat him again. Would be hilarious is Martinez ends up fighting Margo after calling out Cotto, when he's just said Pac fights no-hopers.

Martinez should not move up and down in weight. That's not good for his health. He should keep fighting at 160 and should try to unify the World Championship Belts at this weight class.

The biggest money fights Martinez can realistically hope for is a fight with Bute or a rematch with Pavlik at 168. Either fight represents a solid 7 figure pay day. However, we will never see Martinez take up that kind of challenge.

Martinez is still relatively unknown and doesn't really have a mainstream and/or ethnic fanbase on the US to really draw PPV numbers. His opponent is going to have to be someone who will pick up the slack, maybe someone like Cotto or Chavez.
