This means Chavez will never fight Martinez again. He has to find another path to a title. Maybe GGG.

Damn, I was hoping Martinez would've faced Chavez Jr. in 2013.

No way is this true. A man in his late thirties, coming off a fight where he damaged his hands, in a sport where people score by driving their gloved hand into other people, breaking his hand? OUTRAGEOUS EXCUSES?!!!!!!! OBVIOUSLY!!!!!! SerDUCKGIAO LOSEinez THE FRAUD EXCUSE-MAKER!!!!!!!!

    Time to cash out.

He's not at an age where his speed and reflexes are going to get better or maintain and he's at the point of his career where he's expected to fight only the best. He's had a good run but it's about to come to a screeching, violent halt. This style does not lend itself to aging.

If he really does have a whole bum of different injuries it probably is the right time to get them all sorted out. Have all the surgies you need. Do the rehab you need. **** the bitches you wanna ****. And then when all is said and done come back and fight Jr and get the **** out of dodge before GGG and Quillin come for your title.
