I would favor Sergio but Jackson can always land that money punch.

Probably pulls a KO out of his ass once out of three fights but gets decisioned the other two.

i really love martinez but i don't think his defense matches his natural speed and movement. he's very open to counter punches at times and jackson had reasonably fast hands. martinez busts him up, cuts his eyes but gets tagged in the 5th for a knockdown and walked down over the next 2 for a KO 7

This is a close one. Haven't seen enough of Jackson to make a proper assessment, but he would be dangerous for Sergio stylistically, to say the least.

I think somebody gets caught early here.

Sergio has shown that when he has a target in front of him, he can blitz it and score knockdowns and knockouts. He saw a single opening and laid Williams out, and once he settled in, blasted Dzinziruk out. The open, slower Jackson would be little more than target practice.

    BUT.

Jackson would fire back all the way, and Sergio gets hit because he leaves his hands down. You do not want to get hit by Jackson.

This is a toss up. I could see it going either way. The less disciplined Martinez is and the more aggressive Jackson is, shifts it in his favor. Reverse those, and Martinez takes the edge. Tough call.

Sergio's low hand defence against Jackson's fast explosive bombs spells disaster for him. Jackson by KO

Martinez is very popular in ESB land..for many reasons..but he truly hasn't proven himself yet, especially chinwise and defensively. A potentiall huge disaster would have been in the works for him vs Jackson if he just relied on dynamism and speed.

The Hawk is a different beast to the guys Marrinez has fought. He could end this fight with one punch. Maravilla is just too unproven IMO.

Close fight... until Jackson promptly ends proceedings in the mid rounds.

The Hawk by 3rd round ko. taking into consideration that both williams and margarito could land solid blows to him!

Jackson ko. Can't see Martinez avoiding those bombs for twelve rounds and I cant see him taking them when he finally does get caught. Jackson hit so hard that I don't think a good chin comes in to it that much.

McCallum had a great chin. Not to mention that fight was stopped early, but I'll save that for another time.
