Are you shitting me? Please be!
Pavlik was getting dominated. He won like 3 or 4 rounds and that knockdown was bull****. Pavlik held his head down and punched him sending Martinez off balance and onto the canvas.
Williams lost to him in the first fight by two rounds and he was definently not doing OK til the KO.
Look at the fight again. They even show a slow mo of the first round how Martinez pounded Williams with the left hook. Williams had nothing on Martinez in the second fight.

What would he get from it? What the **** has Pirog done? Fight bums and KO a decent prospect to win the belt that Martinez was robbed from.
    Low risk,no reward.

After 8 rds I had Pavlik in front by 1 point because of the KD,yeah it was BS but if the ref calls it a KD then thats what it is.
Until the cut Pavlik was very much in the fight..when he was cut though, Martinez was brutal and brilliant.

Excellent analysis Hendo I agree on all points. Martinez is a bad style match up for him. His movement and speed will be too much for Sergiy to overcome.

ile be shocked if martinez dont win.

half expecting a knockout and more people not wanting to face him afterwards.

pirog and winky could be good opponents.

the two german middleweigts need to fight each other, and the winner can take on martinez ,pirog or winky.

    Not by a long shot.

Cintron, and ESPECIALLY Pavlik and Williams offered far more of a challenge. Sergiy, with his robotic southpaw style, is the type of fighter that Martinez FEASTS on.

If Sergiy does have the courage to throw, he'll be leaning into punches all night or just missing completely and being countered with hard shots.

Sergiy doesn't even have a punchers chance in this fight. It's going to be a ridiculously one sided beating and it's a shame because it may ruin Sergiy's career before it starts.

This is an interesting fight. Martinez despite his amazing accomplishments is not really a Middleweight. I can't see him hanging about the division much longer. Hopefully he'll get shot of this guy then go down in weight and fight Mayweather.
