Pacquiao's gameplan coming into the fight was to outbox Mayweather. NOT the plan I would have chosen to go with, but Pacquiao actually succeeded on many levels. His head movement and defense was probably the best I've seen from him. He made Mayweather miss and miss badly. If you factor in Pacquiao being much smaller, generally easy to find, and Mayweather being known as a sharpshooter w/ accuracy, Pacquiao actually neutralized his offense. Most of the shots Pacquiao took were the natural result of being the aggressor. Pacquiao's punished him to the body as he wheeled away from the ropes and hit him flush in the center of the ring plenty of times. Mayweather was reduced to largley glancing jabs.

Mayweather didn't trade with Pacquiao because he would have been knocked out.

People hated this fight, but I loved it and to me, it was an indicator that in 2009, Pacquiao would have washed him.

Floid was on roids. We know this now. Delayed announcement of the fight until the very last minute. Rejected VADA testing. Rejected $5 million dollar penalty. A needle in his arm in his living room after the weigh in treating a non-existent medical condition.

And then there's Pac...

Semi-shot, had a terrible training camp (confirmed by Ellerbe himself), was denied a shot (on the list of acceptable medications), undersized, and suffered one of the most brutal one shot KOs in the history of the game at the late stage of his career.

Size + Roids + Pac's Broken Chin... Why no savage KO?!?!
