Yeah, but looking past it against guys who are either much more athletic (GSP) or way way bigger (Alves) doesn't tell me much about how he'll do against someone who is much smaller and less athletic. Apart from the first round of the first GSP fight, when have we ever seen Serra look superb?

I don't see Serra winning this, I wish he would but He will be taken down by Hughes at will and smothered all night. Serra's standup isn't that lethal so I say Hughes UD

Of course I back up my predictions with an avatar bet as well.

This is one of the hardest fights ever to call,i think that hughes has excellent stand up and wrestling,bt serra can trade punches too.and i think hughes's camp will tell him to keep the fight standing cause if it goes to the ground serra will easily submit him. but i can still see serra submitting him in the 2nd round.
    but thats just my opinion!

Im hoping Hughes murders Serra as i think i am the only Hughes fan in exsistence.

He has been my favourite fighter since the early UFC's

    HUGHES:happy

I think you're confused about who the fighters are here. Hughes has horrible stand up and Serra has exactly one submission win in the UFC and it's against a guy who never fought in the UFC again. Hughes is a much more accomplished sub fighter (more wins by sub than Serra has fights) and will always be the one on top in this fight. No way Serra takes him down and I highly doubt Serra can sub him from the bottom. If Serra wins this it will be because Hughes is falling apart and can't take him down and Serra lands enough to win a decision. More likely though, Hughes takes him down over and over and GNPs him to a 30-27 win.

This is one of the most meaningless fights in a while. I mean what's the point? No one gives a **** about their beef anymore, it has **** all to do with the title picture and Hughes is probably going to retire soon. Why not just **** off now?

That said Hughes probably takes this.

Come on, you have to give Froch credit. He kept on going, pulled the fight back to where it was very close, and pulled it out in the last round when Taylor was ****ed. No luck about that. I predicted it.:D

And yeah, one of the mods came in and made sure everybody who participated had their new avatars. Tbh I think you lot were let off the hook with the avatars. Hardly an embarassment are they?

I won't bet on people who are nearly 40years old lol !

Hendo is the exception, when he will probably beat Bisping

I not sure yet. I'm gonna have a look at Hendo's last fight, see what's up. He's coming down from his peak now whereas Bisping is just getting towards it.
