Serra vs Hughes in April thoughts ?

    I don't see Serra winning easily if he even does, I give the edge to hughes and don't think Serra is strong enough to stop the takedowns. Hughes will smother him for a UD. but I would like to see serra retire hughes.

    Ive always like Serra, he just tells it like it is. Hughes have been getting away with all his snide (arrogant) remarks in the past and hes met his match with Serra.

    I also like Laimon but he was a little disrespectful. He is right though, Helios side of the family have a bit of chip on their shoulders. Only ones who really like them are probably their students. I remembered Bjs victory over Renzo, he went over the gracie corner to pay respect and Rickson gave him the cold shoulder.

    BTW Id be shocked if Hughes beat Serra at this point

    Hughes fought more a more or less even fight with a 174 Thiago Silva until he ran into a knee. Serra is custom made for Hughes, his striking is not technical, lacks kicks, he will get outwrestled, and has never subbed anybody worth mentioning in MMA.
