I still haven't seen any evidence of this so-called glass jaw of Price's in the pros. (I'm aware he got pummeled about a bit in the AM's, but that's a different world and he was a younger scrawnier lad). I'm actually not too sure about Price vs. Mitchell, but one thing I do agree with Dan Rafael on: out of UK 2008 Olympic HW medalist David Price and US 2008 Olympic HW medalist Deontay Wilder, there is absolutely no doubt who would win now. :arran (Of course, I think Mitchell would smash up Wilder at this point too. atriot)
Maybe because Price has only fought handpicked tomatos as a pro??? :yep AGREE :thumbsup Deontay "Wet Toilet Paper" Wilder has a freakishly fragile mandible. :deal
There's something suspicious about Wilder. It's unusual that he would have been held back this long as a pro, even to the point of staging all his fights in small town, backwater arenas.
I think Arreola would destroy Mitchell, most likely by early round KO. Seth cannot block Arreola's right hand. Add to this that Seth has problems with pressure (assuming the pressure is effective), and Arreola is a powerful, aggressive pressure puncher. Best I can see for Mitchell is that maybe he floors Arreola, or hurts him. But the ending is inevitable. It would be brutal. Possibly Mitchell is out cold for several minutes following the KO.
Banks was knocked out by Adamek. Banks let Mitchell off the hook in the rematch, could have easily knocked him out again. Was he paid off? Who knows, boxing is crooked. Vitali or Vlad would easily knock him out. Thompson would knock him out.
Mitchell's power? Who has he KOed? Why do some of you keep claiming people like Price and Mitchell have power when they haven't KOed any of the better fighters they have fought? Fighters with legit savage power can knock out the better fighters they face.
