Sexton should defend himself at all times, it's up to the ref to step in

I do agree that Sexton's actions (didn't notice them myself mind you and I just deleted the programme from my V+ ) are essentially cheating though, if they are as described.

But if he's capable enough to point out to Rogan that the towel is in, he's capable of defending himself

Fair play to Rogan but he should've just hit him, that's the name of the game.

Clinched loads, rubbed his head in his eye once or twice, spat his gumshield out and hit Rogan when he was being given a chance to get his gumshield back.

****. Rogan should have nailed him immediately. Don't stop unless the ref says so!

  3. I can see how you might feel hard done by Moorser, but thats the way it goes.... I had Sexton 6-1 up... and I didn't think Rogie should have been able to start the 8th his eye was grotesque, saying that he did start the 8th and can only blame himself for not finishing Sexton when he had the chance

At least Sexton had the grace to look embarrassed when he mumbled something about moving on and not giving Rogan a rematch. 2 average fighters serving up a decent night's entertainment.

Sexton wasn't so badly injured that he wasn't able a couple of seconds later to come back with three decent shots. Rogan, for whatever reason, didn't finish the fight when he had the chance and the eventual stoppage was inevitable.

Sexton wasn't claiming a towel had come in he was pointing to his gumshield on the floor, you can see it was the same spot that Parris picked it up from 10 seconds later.

Rogan had the chance to finish him and fluffed his lines. No room for sentiment in boxing. If your opponent cant defend himself and the ref doesn't step in, then you knock him ****in out. End of!

How can anyone not realise Sexton was pointing to his gumshield? He didn't deliberatly turn his back either. Some of you are ****ing blind.

I know, quite funny the people claiming that Sexton was in a standing coma, yet retaining the presence of mind to simaltaneously be able to do an elaborate mime of a towel being thrown in...

your right about the gumshield but he was clearly buying himself time to recover which in the sense that sexton is out for the best for sam sexton fair enough, but he defninately turned away to hide himself when rogan was battering him in the corner

    rematch to sort it out.

i know warren is in charge of rogan but does he control sexton as well? if so, should be easy enuf. sky seemed like they wanted a re run

I'm saying that it's easy to criticise Rogan for not pouncing, but given that the guy looked like he'd given up and the fight was over, it's not that surprising he didn't finish him.

Yet another whiny Rogan was robbed thread FFS. Truth of the matter is that Sexton boxed the **** off the taxi driver for 6-7 rounds, and when given the opportunity to finish the job Rogan couldn't do it. In my opinion the doctor should never participate in another event as the fight should have been stopped a round earlier when Uncle Dave referred Rogans eye.

Stop bleating, your man got beat...look at the ringside interview and tell me who looked like they had won, Sexton didn't have a mark on him
