Aye but least Sky are giving us KSI and Price/Chisora on PPV. Oh and Katie Taylor as a freebie.

BT have the big UFC card so they wont take it

exactly mate the vast majority arent interested in katie taylor or womans fights in general ,if took an honest poll on here a would say 8/10 would switch over when womans fight is on ,standard is poor thats all. Think am being generous only sayin 8 out 10. Sky and bt are the 2 biggest platforms in uk they should be striving to give the best fights to fans but insted fed crap

I wouldn't mind as much but she was clearly beat last time and is still being paraded as a great.

Bizarrely if it was Taylor Prograis I would have paid this weekend. But I ain't encouraging Sky that ****ing Chisora and Price is a PPV

IFL or somebody should have the balls to ask Frank Warren or his sons what’s happening with Boxnation. They are not even showing **** fights they get for free now,

The issue is however, he mentioned they was not even offered the rights to the beterbiev fight. If thats the case shame on Top Rank for not touting that around internationally.

The other thing is Sky only have a certain budget and the prices are set by the promoter putting the fight on. Sky get the Hearn cards as they have a deal with Matchroom meaning they get first refusal. If DAZN and Matchroom are happy to take £10k a show for the Matchroom shows, Sky get 8 scraps with a few englksh fighters on for next to nothing. If Goldenboy are asking for £500k for instance for the rights to Canelo vs Kovalev thats a big chunk of Skys budget. They could get nother 2 UK fightnights out of that. Or they may look at it and think Spence vs Porter and Wilder vs Ortiz at £250k each is money better spent.

With the amount of decent fights on Sky in the second half of this year could we actually not be saying this is the best content we have had in years. Is it ideal...no but in reality it seems things are improving. BT have been very lacklustre with their overseas content bearing in mind they havent been spending the biggest amounts on their cards.

I actually think their is a big market for Boxnation or even an IFL to set up a DAZN like cheap model for overseas cards. Kugan has a big chance in my opinion to create a platform for boxing content. Could easily keep up his MTK content and stream all of the U.S cards that dont get picked up on a PPV basis on a Youtube PPV platform like the first KSI fight

I think BT budgets are constrained by a couple of factors. A decline in subscribers which cost their CEO his job coupled with the money committed to champions league.

Is the Stevenson fight available on the ESPN app in the UK? That could make them reluctant to release the rights to sky at a reasonable cost?

I am fairly sure BT having UFC on almost every Saturday night wouldn't encourage them either.
