Looks like i might be in the minority but i like Mosley early in this fight , i think the fact he has a solid and lightning fast rear hand against the Pacquiao south paw stance gives him a good chance of hurting Pacquiao early ....................

But like the thread starter i really have to question Mosleys gas tank , he gassed in round 2 against Mayweather , and looked gassed from 5 or 6 against Mora , that obviously has a lot to do with the fact he was in a very competetive fight on both occasions , WTF is he gonna do when Pacquiao is bringing twice as much heat as Floyd and Mora combined with better power !!!!

Good while it lasts , Manny may even get dropped , but im going firm on Pacquiao TKO 8 :deal

Pac has to be in constant movement against Mosley and needs to keep the fight in the center of the ring. He cant be trading and staying against the ropes like he did against Marg because Mosley will make him pay. However, the deeper the fight goes the more in Pac's favor it'll be. The first 5 or 6 rounds are going to be crucial in this fight specially for Mosley.

I see it like that too. Pacquiao isn't as defensively-talented as Mayweather and I see him getting hit much more especially if he goes to the ropes like he did with Cotto & Margarito. Shane is still a dangerous man and it will be a good win if Pacquiao wins regardless that Shane is at the tail-end of his career.

Yeah Pac will be cautious in the opening rounds and use his superior foot movement to jump in and out of range like he always does. After the 4th/5th round poor shane will be taking a beating

I think angulo is a good match up for him, one he can beat a known name that will sell and he can retire with a win.

He can face cotto again if he wants. Im thinking with emmanual though and in top form cotto wins. if cotto had that **** trainer and wasnt ready then maybe id pick shane

How can Pacquiao honestly do this twice in a row?

A mosley fight is pointless. And Shane will take a horrendous beating which we dont need to see

Guys... the truth is that yes Mosley is getting older , but the reason he gassed in the Mayweather fight is because he was over trained. He had a camp for the Berto fight, then went straight into camp for the Mayweather fight. he had been training for ****ing six months straight. And find me one fighter in the world who looks good against sergio Mora and il give you a thousand Dollars. Shane can hang with Pac in a competetive fight. TRUSSSS

First of all Shane is not shot. He may be past his best but he is not shot. PBF dominated him because he is a great fighter and basically fought him in a style Shane was not prepared for. As good as Pacman is he is actually there to be hit and fundamentally Shane is not the underskilled Margarito. Pacman's poor defence and Shane's attributes will enable Shane to knock out Pacman and its not going to be pretty. Also having watched Shane over s o many years I am far from convinced that Shane can be knocked out. Any bets on Jinkee versus Jin.

Mosley is perhaps my favourite fighter from when I grew up who is still around (unless you want to count Morales and Barrera) but he has to take a large portion of the blame for whatever happens. I don't think Oscar is particularly happy with his decision as you can if you read into his recent Twitter posts.

I do wonder why Manny has taken this fight? I can't really go any further in my guesses other than it seems to be the fight with the highest reward for the lowest risk, GBP are trying hard to push a Marquez fight at 140 (not quite the mismatch I see Shane-Manny being but a mismatch all the same.) I would find myself digusted and highly critical of Roach is this does go ahead after he steered Manny away from Mosley when Mosley was (wrongly) considered the man at 147 after his thunderous beating of Margarito.

However I don't expect anyone around Mosley to stop this fight. Its the fight he wants which as fans we have to respect. I'd expect his team to stay around him as he has a much better chance of getting through this with them rather than without them.

I don't see this making a difference to Manny's current legacy, just like I didn't really understand the Margarito fight. It is however a shame Manny has found himself fighting Shane Mosley at this stage rather than Floyd Mayweather, Andre Berto or even Jan Zaveck.

The fight is concrete yet so I do hold out some hope.

Actually I was surprised at the offense and aggression of Floyd when he got clocked in the 2nd round. That punch really seemed to make him open up.

I respect Mosley and all his accomplishments, but in the end, it just seems to be a pointless fight. I'd rather see Pacquiao fight someone more relevant and younger.

Please don't base the Margarito fight on the out come for Mosley because even an aged Mosley is a better fighter then Marg. Pac avoided Mosley until now in my opinion, just so age can make Mosley less of a threat.

Will if he does, I assume Pac will agree to the testing as well as Mosley. So why he won't agree to take it vs Floyd?
