Just seen it myself on the house of dog's website. I can't ****ing believe it. Berto's got family in Haiti, though, so it's perfectly understandable, if not a tad disappointing that the fight is off. Boxing rightfully takes a back seat considering what is going on over there at the moment.

Completely. Really disappointed that's it's called off, was quite up for it, but I understand perfectly considering the circumstances.

Possibly having to wait til May for Floyd-Shane is wank and is just more inactivity fr Shane.

Will this make it less competitive than it might be? Will Floyd man up and fight someone of Mosleys calibre?

    Discuss.

Floyd's in a similar boat, he's had 1 fight in over 2 years. It'll happen, Floyd will completely outclass him then there will be a string of excuses for Mosley despite it being the fight 99% of the forum have been calling for!

Good points but Floyds low workrate, pot shotting and defensive posing on the ropes will see him lose a decision.

The one massive advantage he has is that he has faster feet and superior movement. He can outmanouver Shane.

But I'd go for Mosleys grit and tenacity, coupled with his own handspeed, big workrate, punch resistance and power to do enough to win.

Void will not fight Mosely. Pac is the fighter that Void should have fought, but Void was extremely afraid.

    Latest developments:

    http://www.fighthype.com/pages/content6777.html

As if it was in any doubt, but Mosley will take Olympic-style blood and urine tests. Ellerbe also says that ANY future PBF opponent will also have to take the same tests. Personally, I hope GBP insist on the same tests for all of their future promotions as well. Boxing needed the 'bloodgate' debacle to highlight just how crap the current system is.

Can't wait for this fight:happy! I'll also put a public poll up...

    Twat.

I hope this fight happens. I reckon it'll be better than May-Pac. Not the build up but the actual fight.

Not defo, but it's looking as good as. From the article I posted, apparently it's not been officially confirmed as they don't want to come across as they are taking advantage of Berto's withdrawal from the Mosley fight. The key points are that both fighters have agreed to fight each other and have agreed on the Olympic-style testing. The fight seems to be a formality, mate. I am so chuffed:D.

I think they should go for March 13th and compete with Pac vs Clottey, which IMO is a pretty lame fight.

Why not give someone else a payday, rather than that whiny bugger?

Plus would be great to see Pac outsold in the PPV stakes, knock him down a level or two :yep
