True but Mosley aint like that. There's only one person at WW who should fight Pac at 140 and thats Floyd. Mosley is going to kill himself to make weight unless this fight isn't made until next year.
I would love to see it, too. I still have my doubts, however. I think Roach knows Mosley is all wrong for Pacquiao.
Mosley is crazy like a fox I think. I'd bet he wouldn't have made this offer without consulting his team (physician's/nutritionists/trainers) first. The other thing I like about this fight is the Roach vs Nazeem behind the fighters fight. Which trainer comes up with the best plan for his guy?
They will take it because he's not at 100%. Roach views it as evening things up. These guys at 100% have an advantage because of the size difference - bringing them down makes it more of a fair fight (in Roach's eyes).
9 mil to 15 mil will make you do some crazy stuff. Hah hah, I'd like to see Nallege's take on this. Here's what Mosely should do...ask for 9-12 mil. He should negotiate the contract that if he's over a pound, pay up 250,000 a pound. He can come in overweight at 147 and force Pac to still fight him. Pac will fight him at anyweight as long as its under 147 and we got a fight. No way this fight gets called off. Its up to Mosely to be smart on this one and ask for the least amount of money per pound/penalty. That's the key.
They will take the fight, Beleive that, they will take it just based on knowing that Shane wont be at 100%. or atleast that is the way they are thinking. 2 days after the Hatton fight Roach was on the radio and said if they fight Mosley he has to weigh about 143 they know he struggles making 147 and Roach said "I have to get my fighter every advantage I can get him" Basicly saying I need to have the top elite fighters that Manny will face from here on out, to be weight drained. The funny thing is Roach himself admits to DLH being drained and past it, yet when people discuss it, the *******s act as if we are making **** up, you know good and well if the Trainer even admits it, there has to be some truth to it. Now the bottom line is nobody is giving manny any **** but if he doesnt take this fight at his own weight I would have to say Shane can make a strong case to say Pacquiao is ducking him
