I dont think Shanes jab is not enough to cause too many problems for Mayweather....IM NOT SAYING HE HAS A BAD JAB only he usually flicks it out to set up his right hand, which i would assume Floyd will get out of that by keeping his range! HAVING SAID THAT....Floyd will not be able to discorage Mosely or give him much of a buzz,, he has a granite chin and will close the distance forcing Mayweather to fight.....Shane looked **** against Mayorga,,but made Margarito look like an idiot...depending on what shane shows up will determine how the fight goes....

Ill go Floyd UD (but he may hit the deck in the process)

I don't see Mayweather hurting Mosley. He is just going to box his socks off.

Mayweather will fight a conservative defensive fight, tagging Mosley with jabs and moving out the way. He will wait for Mosley to make mistakes and take what he gives him. Mayweather isn't going to open up in order to knock Mosley out unless Mosley makes a mistake and Mayweather is able to counter him and daze him. Which again I don't see happening.

Since Mosley is 38, Mayweather will probably look to focus on his body in order to wear the old man down. Though Mosley has a tendency to finish very strong in fights. But he has really ever fought someone who was as or more physically gifted then him either.

Mosley on the other hand is going to strictly depend on trying to knock and base his game plan on trying to land one big shot.

Mayweather doesnt have to backup Mosley to win. And Mosley would have knocked out JMM yes, but that has little to do with Mosley beating PBF.

I would say that PBF handles pressure much better than Jones and his defense when he is backed on the ropes is far far better than Jones' in the same situation. Watch when Corely stuns him and PBF backs into the ropes, Corely was unable to land a single flush follow up shot.

I think Shane will rely on combinations and his physical strength to ragdoll Floyd around the ring. If Mayweather can really get some torque on that counter uppercut in the pocket he may nullify the clinch.

The video he posted was a compilation of many fights not just the gatti fight:huh And PBF has faced DLH (who is in the same league as mosley) who didnt land anything big on him. The chop chop video was just a response to my mention of that part of the fight where PBF demonstrated great defense on the ropes which he has in other fights. The thread starter wanted to compare Roy v Tarver with PBF v Mosley but I was saying PBF is much better than Roy defending on the ropes. Roy doesnt have good fundamentals and relies on his speed, he doesnt like being pressured and needs that ring space to move to avoid punches. He showed that as early as the hopkins fight and in Tarver I and Tarver II where he was knocked out by an shot on the inside. PBF has excellent fundamentals and defense on the inside as shown in the compilation and the chop chop video. He doesnt need to be in the middle of the ring like Roy Jones, look at his high light KO of hatton where he is backed in the corner and side steps and catches Hatton coming in with a perfect counter.
