I've never had one bad thing to say about Shannon Briggs and his life story is a true inspiration. Any idiot who disrespects him should have to go 1 round in the ring with him. I bet they wouldn't last 10 seconds.

I'm surprised he didn't play the race card for this fight. If it was in the US, he probably would have. Doesn't make a lot of sense doing that in Germany I guess. He was awful with the race-baiting in the lead-up to the Liakhovich fight, which is when I started to lose respect for him.

So this time he played the "asthma card" instead.

 

Vitali's got something to make Shannon forget his asthma for awhile....

Shannon is a trip....he does a bunch of pics where he looks like he's Vitali's bearded blushing bride than gets upset when people call him a ******.

 

I honestly don't remember anyone calling him a ******................:huh

 

I'm sure there would be at least one who did, I'm trying to think wich fighter never got any abuse here from any poster.

 

Shannon is really playing the victim card before this fight. I've argued with him in the front page comments, but I never called him names, which is childish. I did tell him that if he played the race card again before this fight, people would lose all respect for him, and so far, he hasn't done it. He's decided to play the asthma card instead.

 

Honestly I don't think anyone did, even when those weird promotion pics came out with Vitali cradling him and making him kiss his title belt.

However Briggs uses the term more than most people use the word "the" so the word probably just came out..."I see people calling me uuuuh aaaa uuuh ****** yeah."
