His problem is not eating, his problem is trying to put their weights down....

Briggs has wayyyy to much bulk, believe it or not, to do anything serious in the division....

sure this is the HW division and a fight could end in 1 single punch, but how can it tho cause when Briggs thorws its so noticable and slow paced, plus it comes rarely...

I wanna see him fight one of the Klits, just so he can get KOd. lol

    You got a nice seat.

Briggs looks like a lumbering elephant there. McGee was too busy running away from Briggs that I forgot if he even threw a punch. Briggs is too slow now and he will get KOed in the same round against the Klits.

He did win a world title twice. Although if I had been the lone judge Foreman would've beaten him 116-112. Other than a punchers chance I don't see Briggs doing much.

Briggs has a better resume than all of the bums that keep getting title shots like Arreola, Johson just to name a few. Briggs hasnt proven anything yet but I`m a believer he will KO a Klitschko before his days are done.

That was **** poor. I heard Briggs came down 80 pounds for this fight?? I cant even imagine what he looked like, he could lose another 30 pounds, and no that fight doesnt showcase any type of conditioning. He plodded and kept his hands low. A real fighter would have killed him. As long as he knows this and works his way back into condition good for him, but if he thinks hes going to fight for the title like that, he should just stop now.

I've got Briggs on facebook and he posts an incredible amount about his sparring, fitness, running etc. Along with a lot of posts about how great he is.

Then he comes into the ring bigger and bigger. He never seems to learn. He just gets thicker and more dense, and older. If he really knuckles down and actually trains like a boxer he could get a shot at Wlad at some point i'd imagine.

But at this rate he's just gonna end up at 350lbs of muscle, knocking out nobodies in one round, then going home and posting on facebook about how the K bros should be scared of him.

I'm yet to be convinced. I'll just watch Tuas comeback for now :)

Probably more of a realistic comeback, especially considering he looks to be in decent shape.

He is slow, plodding, keeps his hands down to low, and needs to come in better shape. He is a KO waiting to happen for either Klitschko at this point.

Yeah, looks to be taking things very serious atm, what with his 3 fights in less than 90 days plans.

And getting himself out of his Maori TV contact.

to much muscle. it requires to much oxygen. Add that to his asthma, no way Briggs get back ontop the way he is now

I have faith in him. As much training as i've seem him do JUST for cardio...THe man can run 10 miles a day now people. He is doing this several times a week. His hand were low during this fight because if anyone knows Marcus's style you would know that he is a sucker for trying to throw the knockout shot right away. Shannon will dominate and Shannon WILL bring the belt back.

Except 2 good bodyshots, the right hand that finished it and a left before that he didn't do much.McGee was there to be taken.

At 272,25 he is still to heavy and I doubt he will ever get down to a weight where he can regain mobility.
    Will watch him though.
