Two problems: 1. This isn't a movie 2. You can get Steph Curry to show you how to shoot but its just about certain you aint gonna be Steph.
Yea he needs to know when to mix it up and use the long range but Wlad will be no use to him here bc Wlad himself wasn't really good at this ,that's why he was a jab and grabber.,or a long range guy. He was not an inside fighter ,that's AJ's biggest strength close to mid range.
Wlad and AJ are friends and if Wlad is 100% not coming back I'd love to see him give AJ some help with the jab.
I'm surprised more people don't ask Evander Holyfield for advice. He faced every style there was to face. And he knows all the tricks, too.
If it wasn't for McCracken he would've been exposed a while back, this one was out of McCrackens hands blatantly
Both have attributes that the other don't. Wlad had a superior jab, footwork, right hand, left hook. AJ is a better inside fighter.
Alongside Jonathan Banks. However I woul;d personally choose Floyd Mayweather Senior or Virgil Hunter.
Has Wladimir ever publicly expressed any interest in becoming a trainer and/or adviser? Doesn't seem like the type of thing that would interest him as far as I can tell - although I'm admittedly just speculating here.
He was always in Vitali's corner on some level, gave AJ a lot of tips during their sparring before, too. This content is protected
I've never seen a top heavyweight great comeback and become a coach. It's probably too much of a step down and doesn't pay well enough.
He's already tried and tested this ''Anthony Joshua revealed on Tuesday that he has been consulting former world champion Wladimir Klitschko in a boxing brains trust designed to unsettle his rival Joseph Parker ahead of their heavyweight unification fight in Cardiff. I’m finding ways to improve and new ways to get better,” said Joshua on Tuesday. “I chat to [Klitschko’s] trainer Johnathon Banks a lot, a friendship which developed from when I trained with Klitschko as a sparring partner. I use the conversations as a way to speak to Klitschko.” I ask these questions. He told me they worked a lot on his jab and his movement before the fight with me. It’s humbling to know that he got beat a few times and managed to come back.”
