Sure he’s not old, and it’s only his first loss and did have success, but you can only afford to take so much punishment, and he took like 5 beatings in one fight.

    Should he retire?

He is going to start racking up stoppage losses if he keeps fighting. No defense and his punch resistance will never be the same.

Only his next fight will tell. But if he keeps taking big shots his biggest asset will be gone

Nah. Let him rest, have a tune up and go from there. Plenty of room to improve

No, needs a while out though and a different trainer. Like a Lennox Lewis reset.

Depends. From my point of view the damage he took looked insane. I can see him being Joyce'd now, in that a beating has ruined his damage resistance.

I definitely think Ben Davison and Lee Wylie should retire, though. Worst trainers in boxing.

I think so. He's exceeded himself and over achieved considering his lack of amateur pedegree. He won a world title and some good money. He is articulate and charismatic enough to be a very good commentator, he needs to think about his health.

Hard to say, I'm not sure how long he has left and I wouldn't blame him if he retired.

If he really fancies another crack, he should wait a year at least.

There's some good money for him to still earn so he won't

The real question is will he ever recover?

I fear he still has at least one lifecoach Ben "roll the dice" in him.

Hell no, he's got a lot left. Many more exciting fights are possible with Wardley in the mix

It's the money appeal. He's made a few millions and can make more but at what cost? He has taken concussive punches in almost every fight.

I agree. I think he’s studious enough to make a great pundit, but articulate enough to be an awesome presenter.

If you airbrushed the nose scaring, he could even make a good model, as he’s a fairly handsome lad.

Difference being Lewis actually had talent. All wardley had was punch resistance and power.
