If that's the case Hagler's run was poor. Duran started at 130 and SRL and Hearns started at 147.:deal Also Canelo started at 147 but you sure as hell wanted him at 160 for GGG, didn't you?

When will you realize that GGG breaking a record with no one of note doesn't mean anything? If he had beat Pavlik, Martinez and Taylor at MW then it would but when your best name at 160 that you have faced is Martin Murray it means little and he will be bashed accordingly by historians if it happens.:deal

See you're getting but hurt again, stop being a *****y fanboy.

Tito was a legitimate win I'm not disputing that, but DLH had no business holding a title at 160 and proved he didn't belong there by getting an American gift decision.

Hearns and Leonard proved to be ATG throughout the divisions they fought in and as for Duran he made his debut at 118 and was a true fighter by beating Barkley at the age of 38 that's what make him stand out from the prima donnas of today.

Okay Hopkins top 5 wins over actual middleweights not named Tito or Oscar? Write them down, take a look at them and ten tell me if they are any different from the current 160 crop.

But Hopkins didn't beat any of these at 160.

Hopkins beat legends like Allen, Hakkar, James and Daniels,

Beating Canelo is better than those 2.

Once business is finished at MW then he should try out SMW but leaving now would be leaving too much unfinished business.

he should unify the belts like he wants to but then move up as soon as possible after that. Being at 168 should make for better fights just cuz the bigger men may be able to handle a bit more of his beatings than this lot at 160.

Walk in the park, right now.

And that's not because MW sucks so much.

It's because GGG >>> MW division

He's taking 168 fights right now. Or trying to.

    Chavez "splif" jr
Carl "Too big, too strong, too chicken" Froch
    Andre "Son of Golovkin" Ward

    all turned him down ...

Very true and that is why Pimp C has disappeared from the thread. Deep down he knows Golovkin is pure quality.

Joppy and Johnson are better than anyone at 160 currently. Hopkins' resume at 160 while not great is much better than GGG's period.

    You are in denial.

Take a step back from the computer. Hopkins resume besides Tito and DLH is littered with **** poor fighters. And he didn't dominate like Golovkin is.

You may not like it but it's the truth. Hopkins reigned in an equally ****ty era to the one you are slating currently.

Keep dreaming. GGG is a talented fighter I have never said otherwise. I simply want him to prove it like everyone else has done before him against worthy competition. Beating guys like Saunders, Jacobs and Eubank Jr. don't do anything for you legacy wise they don't even tell us how good or great you are. GGG fans should want him to step up if not he'll end up being another Kostya Tszyu another guy with a lot of question marks over his legacy because of his unwillingness to move up when he was in a garbage division.

Get in I knew you'd bring up Johnson who was mediocre at 160, awful at 168 and only became a legitimate force at 175. He'd fought no one of note prior to the Hopkins fight with only 9 out of 32 fighters having winning records. And this is a standout victory how? Johnson wasn't a good 260 fighter despite how his career turned out.

As for Joppy he was just a black Geale.
