Obviously it didn't cost much to buy that ref. When do you stop a fight in the middle of an exchange? Bought refs. Bought judges. The ruin of boxing.

Yes, there should be an investigation..............Froch is a piece of fecal matter. There should be a rematch ASAP. Groves was cheated out of a win. Golovkin would knock Froch out!!! However, Groves deserves a rematch..............

No and Froch should be ashamed of his behaviour afterwards. That's not how warriors behave. Especially when on the end of a total gift.

He should have given Groves 10 more seconds or so but George did look in trouble there. Too bad for him because he boxed brilliantly but then allowed himself to be sucked into a fight.

Jesus. Froch walked through fire tonight and yet still somehow managed to get Groves reeling before the (early) stoppage. If that's not a warrior, what is? It's not his fault that the ref was an idiot - and he did have Groves in bad trouble. Most of the fight it looked like Froch would be the one KO'ed and I just don't get people slagging him off or expecting him to be gracious, humble and well-spoken after a fight like that.

**** Froch. Christmas came early for him tonight and he knows it. Defending that stoppage like he did is bull****. He may well have got to Groves in the closing rounds but we'll never know due to this farce. Considering he screamed robbery when he lost a legit decision to Kessler it makes it all the more galling. The man wants to have 'class and respect' when it suits him. His behaviour afterwards was despicable.

One of the worst stoppages I've ever seen in all my years of watching boxing.

British stoppage just went Super Saiyan. Groves wasn't even that hurt. The ref was looking for an excuse to give Froch a win and stop it at the first opportunity he can get. Just unbelievable.

It was no more "despicable" than Groves behavious during the entire build-up. Froch is an arrogant guy for sure, but come on - dude walked almost literally through fire and STILL got his opponent on jelly legs at the end - it's not his fault the ref jumped in 10 seconds before he should have.

The fight was fixed long before the first bell and you only have to look at the scorecards to see that. Carl 'the ****' Froch should have another 4 losses on his record. Beneficiary of yet another home cooked decision for the house fighter, Groves needs to leave Hearn now, got shafted by his own promoter. No way Hearn was neutral in this :deal

    Criminal stoppage.
Froch gets the victory, but it's clear he's a shadow of his former self and has regressed to be a punching bag.
People are only going to tune in to watch him get beaten up.

Terrible stoppage as they denied Groves any chance to try to make it out but Froch was also denied a stoppage victory. Groves was slowing down and really starting to fade as Froch was able to land cleanly with powerful shots.

Howard Foster robbed the fans of a great finish to a great fight.
He robbed Groves of the chance to fight back and maybe get a win.
He has robbed boxing of a classic.
The man is a c**t. I hope he never sets foot in a boxing ring again.

What y'all seems to be forgetting is that the fighters safety comes first. Groves was hurt, it was loving and caring on the part of the referee to see no permanent damage was done

Reminded me of the Vitali stoppage vs Lewis. Sure, the loser complained, but inside you just know they were thanking their lucky stars
