I'm not saying Cotto is slow, but he is not as quick as Hatton is.

Cotto's deceptively quick. In hands and movement. Anyway, even if he was slower then Hatton, so what? Do you need to be that quick or faster to be able to beat Floyd? Speed ia a great asset, but it's not the deal maker for making a great fighter.

And guess what? Cotto puts together better and more lethal combos together up and down oppenents bodies. Also, hits harder than Hatton at 147 as evidenced by thier respective performances in said weight division.

But Cotto's got to land those shots and I don't see him landing him the way he has landed them on past opponents. I think Cotto will get frustrated by this and also the fact that Floyd will be landing lots of clean punches on him.

For Floyd to land clean punches, he'll have to be close in range. Seeing as he's not one to jab, he'll likely stay in Cotto's range and vice versa. And you can't shoulder roll body punches Gonzo. :deal

Floyd will use the jab if he has to and has already proven this. Floyd's reach is longer than Cotto's so Cotto won't be able to outbox him, he will have to outbrawl him.

How in the **** do you "outbrawl" a runner who is not a "jabber" but "will use his jab if he has too"????????

Wow, the effect of being cornered and bludgeoned has on some posters here.:-(

You saw in the fight Floyd used the jab in one round very effectively. How does Floyd win most of his fights? He outboxes you. Floyd is not a runner, it's called "stick and move".

You guys are out of your mind to think Cotto has a chance. I give him no chance. Mayweather will beat him easily and the fact that cotto ran like a little girl against mosley towards the end of the fight just made him look bad. Also he has a weak chin

He's not, but he can use if effectively when he wants to.

No he is not. If he was a jabber he would use his jab all the time, but he doesn't.
