If he is to continue fighting then he needs to. He can't be calling out Usyk or Fury if he is losing to Dubois. There's no time at 34 nearly 35 to be re-building again. He needs to go straight back in there or retire.
You're really bad at predicting Usyk fights. He's beaten every HW title older of the last 4 years. I didn't think he had any haters left tbh.
If AJ doesn't get caught early, then it is a vastly different fight. However, one must ask what AJ wants to achieve with his remaining time in boxing. If it is to get belts, the his options are the rematch or Usyk vs Fury winner. Either way, he will need to put in a much better performance than against DDD. He also took a hell of a beating, which should require a decent lay-off and may be the trigger to retire. AJ may not want to go out on a loss like that, choose an easy win, and fo out that way. Finally, if it is just for the money, he should ask himself, not fast Eddie Hearn, if it is worth it. Does he want to maintain his facilities to enjoy his money or end up like some of the tragic boxers who took too many punches throughout their career. I would say retire. Fast Eddie is a lying PoS whom I would avoid in any decision making process. A couple of guys like Bakole and Zhang would be tough matchups. He could fight Wilder for big money but needs to accept that if he gets caught he will wake up in the dressing room. Fury would be his best option, because he doesn't have devastating punching power, which probably suits AJ the most. TLDR AJ should consider retirement or a Fury / retirement fight, but does not need to rematch DDD, although the second fight could be very different- it all depends on his goals.

Not a straightforward question. If Joshua wants to stay relevant at title level he has to take the rematch. But if he loses again and there's every reason to suspect he will, it is all over for him.
No, Joshua still makes a lot of the same mistakes he always makes. The half assed long guard, poor head movement, dropping the lead hand after jabbing, and using bad angles to pivot is what got him dropped so many times. Those aren't things you can fix in just 4-5 months before a rematch. He needs a coach that will tighten up his basic fundamentals and defense. Most importantly, knowing how to survive and protect himself when hurt. Those were much bigger issues than Joshua simply having chin/recovery issues. A rematch with Dubois will either be another one-sided slaughter or the delaying of the inevitable because Joshua doesn't have the boxing IQ and skill to correct all this in a short amount of time. I truly hope he either takes his time to work on what went wrong with 1-2 tune ups before fighting another elite opponent because if he loses again it'll completely shatter his already dwindling confidence and stock as a fighter.
Agree with this he may as well make the rematch as there isn't much else for him to do and like you said it's not impossible for him to beat Dubios with some adjustments. More so at heavyweight one punch can change everything.
If AJ is serious about climbing back to the top, he has to avenge this loss. Whether he can is a different story.
If AJ has any hopes in this sport he takes rematch, if not he goes big money route. DDD was very good and AJ was very poor. See if Juicy J can fight to his best.
