He's probably still not explosive enough to close the distance and set up shots on the inside consistently without getting stopped by Floyd's jab to the body or being muscled out of a clinch. I do think it would be more competitive though, and Marquez could have success making Floyd reach, but I don't see him being able to hang back and stink out the fight like that. I can imagine it being more competitive.

Although unlikely, if he looks really quick of hand and foot against Bradley, then I'd support it.

No he should fight fighters that are his level and element(low ring IQ fighters). Floyd is in his own category.

    Yeah like Casamayor and Barrera.

I guess Floyd is the only one with a Ring IQ :patsch

No point. He would get beat just as convincingly again.

Hit and not be hit a better term. Youre boy JMM is a punching bag with above average countering ability and ring IQ in a sport where the majority dont have defense. Barrera was good but still the same applys, goes to war because the lack of real skill. I like boxing, not chin. JMM plays chin. Deal with it *****.

Wow, you really don't know anything about this sport.

Marquez is a punching bag? Yet has never been stopped?

Average countering ability, when he countered the crap out of the P4P#1 fighter 4 times? (And don't start with your "Pacquiao is a bum" line, nobody else besides Morales and Marquez have been able to beat him in his prime.)

Average IQ when he doesn't have exceptional height, reach, handspeed, footspeed, or size? How the **** is he winning?

The majority of boxers in the sport don't have any defense at all? Explain that one. Are boxers never supposed to get hit or take risks?

You like boxing, but not chin? So you dislike a vast majority of fighters?

You are not a boxing fan, you are an idiot. **** off somewhere that's not here.

There's no need for a rematch. Marquez understands that Mayweather is the superior fighter and is a step up in class from Pacquiao. He gave it his all, and "finsihed with dignity" when they fought but he knows he could never beat Floyd.

Debatable. Whats not debatable is Floyd is a natural welter, Marquez a natural lightweight

No, Victor Ortiz, Shane Mosley, Berto are natural welters. Thise guys weigh 165 plus on fight night.

Floyd weighs 149-150 on fight night. He's a natural lightweight, jr ww. He schooled Marquez because he's too quick, too skilled, and there's no shame in that.

Actually that statement is much, much more debatable.

I believe what you're trying to say is that Mayweather is a natural super featherweight and Marquez is a natural featherweight.

The only way he should rematch Floyd is if he gets a fair share of the purse, Give Marquez that 40 million you offered Pac, give him a cut of the PPV take the fight in Mexico and you got a deal anything less than that, a 2nd ass whippen just isnt worth it

I'll give Marquez 4 rounds at most, unless he can time may weather and unleash a right hand from hell.
