I agree with both of these points to be honest. I would still prefer a Jones, Zaveck or Berto if he's going to use it as a springboard to Floyd (after he leaves Ortiz ruined most probably)

It's lucky Khan doesn't want it, because the vast majority of fans don't either.

Maidana picked the gaps, didn't knock Khan out, must be some improvement in Khan's chin.

Well obviously it has improved with he step up in weight, it's irrefutable. You don't get knocked down by a feather fister Limond, and then take bombs from a KO artist like Maidana.

No, he has now learned to go backwards and hold his hands up after getting twatted.

I think Khan beats him all day long. Easy money. And at the end of the day Team Khan want to make money. If he decides to stay at light welter with no Bradley in site then who else will the general public pay £14.95 to see? All I'm saying us with a but of media hype and promotion it can sell. F@$k me he got decent numbers for McCloskey and I for one had no interest in that!

It's not really about 'improving your chin', you can't put steel in there. It's about not weakening the body and training optimally which in turn means you can push your body to greater extremes. The end result is you're more durable. You can fight harder and longer and recovery is greater in all aspects, not just chin, but I'm willing to bet Khan is stronger physically and has better stamina than before also.

There will still be a certain thresh-hold, where his chin fails, but the important thing is that isn't at the low level that it was. It's serviceable now, and if he gets sparked its going to be more to do with making mistakes rather than having an abysmal punch resistance.

also in the 10th vs maidana when khan is up against the ropes near the end of the round his leg goes and the rope keeps him from going on his arse, have a look....

he then does the dot to dot to his corner.
